Pinedale, WY, Email:mikecrosson23@gmail.com General Comment This project is not suitable for rural southwestern Wyoming. There is substantial risk that any inadvertent disaster resulting in radioactive release from this facility would severly impact the airshed and watersheds in the Wind River Range which contains several Wilderness areas, cherished by backpackers and sightseers from all over the nation and the world. This area has the potential for earthquake activity, and this technology is not proven, and therefore not safe. Storage and transportation of radioactive waste is also a major issue with no clear solution. Finally the social impacts are not inconsequential, as the communities of Kemmerer, WY and Diamondville, WY which are adjacent to the proposed site are small rural communities without sufficient infrastructure to handle swift growth. There are better places for this, please search for a more suitable one.
