- Hey, I just wanted to drop a note I've seen in LinkedIn some comments about the great work being done to reopen the Palisades power plant. I feel very strongly that nuclear is the way forward and that wind and solar, so very cool, are unable to meet our future needs. I'm very happy that this plant is being turned on and hope that many, many more are built.. I'm very tired of constantly having to turn down my air conditioner and not certain things in the day because too many people are using power because we have too much renewable energy that is not producing when we need it..
