Documentation Request - West PMT.docx
- Stephen, The NRC will conduct a routine inspection at the Westinghouse facility the week of August 19-23, 2024. The inspection will implement NRC inspection procedure (IP) 88072, Plant Modifications (Triennial). The inspectors for the inspection are Cynthia Taylor (lead), Justin Raudabaugh and myself. The inspection results will be documented in integrated Inspection Report 70-1151/2024-003. We are requesting that an entrance meeting be scheduled for 1500 on August 19th with an exit meeting scheduled for 1600 on August 23rd. We can discuss debriefs logistics and site tours once we arrive on site. I will need a security badge and any training needed to access your site. I will be out of the office from 7/29 to 8/16 and will need to complete any access tasks prior to 7/26. Please ensure that there are no needs for Cynthia and Justin as far as security, training, etc. Please ensure all three inspectors have access to your electronic document room. Please provide instructions or POC to facilitate this request.
Please find attached the document request to support the Plant Modifications (Triennial) inspection activities. If you have any difficulties or questions concerning the document request, please contact Cynthia Taylor by email or phone at 404-997-4480, or myself via email or 404-997-4673. We will schedule a meeting with you and your staff the week of 7/15 to discuss any questions you may have regarding the document request.
Thank you, Todd Shewmaker Nuclear Regulatory Commission Fuel Facility Inspector
