SUMMARY
OF PUBLIC MEETING On May 29, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting to discuss the NRCs assessment of the safety performance at Seabrook Station.
During the first part of the meeting, the NRC staff presented the Agencys assessment of the safety performance at Seabrook Station for the period of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023, as described in the annual assessment letter dated February 28, 2024.
A copy of the letter can be accessed through the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), Accession Number ML24053A341. Following the presentation, an opportunity was provided to the members of the public for questions. The following NRC staff provided presentations and answers to questions during the meeting: Ray McKinley (Deputy Director, Division of Operating Reactor Safety), Matt Young (Branch Chief, Division of Operating Reactor Safety), Travis Daun, (Senior Resident Inspector, Seabrook), Eben Allen (Resident Inspector, Seabrook), Nik Floyd (Senior Reactor Inspector, Division of Operating Reactor Safety), and Joseph DeBoer (Senior Emergency Preparedness Inspector, Division of Radiological Safety and Security).
