Enclosed is an application, accepted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on May 16, 2024, from Hopewell Designs Inc., for the export of irradiator model GC60-100 Sealed sources: Cs-137: 3 sources with a total activity of 42.38 TBq (1) 42 TBq, (2) 0.379 TBq, (3) 0.0037 TBq (3 sources) Co-60: 2 sources with a total activity of 4.40 TBq (1) 4.361 TBq, (2) 0.042 TBq (2 sources) sealed sources to Thailand, to be used for Primary Standards Dosimetry Laboratory.
As a matter of process, and in accordance with 10 CFR 110.81 the application will be public for 30 days before the NRC takes any action on them. If no dissenting public comments are received, and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the amended license, after the 30-day comment period.
