- NRC, Nuclear power plants offer many more risks than benefits. Old nuclear power plants add the frailty of old concrete to the risks of operational mishaps, the hazards of the uranium fuel cycle, and the endless risks of waste fuel decomposition.
With the evident insanity of political leaders around the world, every NPP becomes a target for "nuclear" warfare.
Allow the oldest NPPs to retire gracefully. Don't burden utility rate payers with these bad investments.
