Monticello Reactor Jessica Umana,
Dear NRC,
NRC should deny the application by Northern States Power Minnesota for a second license renewal for its Monticello reactor.
I am particularly concerned by the operators long history of lying and spreading misinformation to the public about the plants potentially negative impacts on public health AND in direct violation of MN law and NRC regulations.
Additionally, the plant is too old: there is certain to be an increasing frequency of accidents, given so much of the equipment is obsolete.
