Dear Don Shaw:
As requested by your letter dated May 6, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24157A369), as supplemented on June 13, 2024 (ML24164A287) and June 28, 2024 (ML24180A061), enclosed is Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9196, Revision No. 32, for the Model No. UX-30 transportation package.
Changes made to the enclosed certificate are indicated by vertical lines in the margin. The staff's safety evaluation report is also enclosed.
The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 71.17 or 49 CFR 173.471.
