Proposed Rule: Categorical Exclusions from Environmental Review.
- Description of the document: The NRC is proposing to amend its regulations regarding National Environmental Policy Act analyses for categorical exclusions (which are for actions that individually or cumulatively do not have a significant effect on the human environment). This action is being taken as a result of an NRC review to determine if existing categorical exclusions were still relevant, or if there are additional eligible actions to add as a categorical exclusions.
- Dates: The public comment period for this proposed rule closes 75 days after publication.
