Purpose:

The NRC staff will host an open forum to present the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Perry Nuclear Power Plant for 2023, as described in the 2023 annual assessment letter. The NRC staff will be available to respond to questions specific to the safety performance of the station and the NRCs role in ensuring safe plant operations.

This is an Information Meeting with a Question-and-Answer Session: The purpose of this open forum is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments toward regulatory decisions at this meeting.
