814-863-4840 6S BREAZEALE Nuclear Reactor The Breazeale Reactor Technical Specifications Chapter 6.1.1 designates the Senior Vice President of Research as the Level 1 administrator for the license, with the responsibility for the facility license. Changes to Level 1 or Level 2 personnel require a special report to the NRC per Technical Specifications 6.6.2.
On June 9, 2023, PSU notified the NRC that Dr. Andrew Read was appointed as the interim Senior Vice President of Research for a two-year period. This letter is to notify the NRC that as of April 1, 2024, Dr. Read's position is now permanent, and he will be the Level 1 administrator for the R-2 license until further notice.
