Decommissioning Surety Bond
Dear Mr. Downs,
Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) hereby notifies the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that NFS elects to substitute alternate financial assurance in the form of the enclosed Decommissioning Surety Bond Number US00137136SU24A, issued by XL Specialty Insurance Company. This replaces the existing Decommissioning Surety Bond, issued by Argonaut Insurance Company and filed with the NRC (Reference 2).
Surety Bond Number US00137136SU24A is being issued in the amount of $28,009,000 and replicates the terms and conditions of the previous bond issued by Argonaut Insurance Company. This action does not alter the Standby Trust Agreement.
