SECURE SUPPORT SERVICES, INC. FACILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE TERMINATION LETTER
Dear Robert Johnson:
As the Cognizant Security Agency for your companys facility security clearance (FCL) under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Part 95, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is responsible for maintaining current facility security information regarding your company.
By letter dated April 22, 2023 (ADAMS Accession No. ML24128A033) our licensee, American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO) a subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp informed us that it no longer has a need for your company to retain a FCL under 10 CFR Part 95. We understand you were notified by ACO; therefore, your companys non-possessing NRC FCL and Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence determination have been terminated. As a result of the terminated NRC FCL the Facility Data and Approval Record (FDAR) in Unclassified Safeguards and Security Information Management System for facility code 11668 has also been terminated.
Additionally, on September 28, 2024, Contract Security Classification Specification (CSCS) OR-17-047 was transferred to the NRC. ACO has informed us that the CSCS is no longer active and in turn will be terminated in conjunction with the FDAR. Personnel clearances related to classified NRC work will be terminated by the Department of Energy at the request of ACO. If you have any questions related to personnel clearance termination process, please contact your ACO security officer. If you also hold a FCL with another agency, please provide them a copy of this letter.
