28500.01.010.005 - NEW FUELS ATLAS: REGULATORY PLANNER INPUT: DELIVERABLE FROM THE CENTER FOR NUCLEAR WASTE REGULATORY ANALYSES ACCEPTED The Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses (CNWRA) developed the Atlas Planner (Subtask C.3.1.1 of Task Order 31310023F0032, under Contract 31310023D0004) to assist the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff in tracking developments and identifying priorities for advanced fuel regulatory activities. The Atlas Planner is designed to be a user-friendly tool to assist the NRC staff and management in tracking completed, ongoing, and planned actions and activities, and related technical considerations related to NRCs licensing, oversight, rulemaking, and research functions.
The CNWRA submitted a draft version on September 29, 2023, and submitted a revised version updated to address NRC comments on March 22, 2024. That version of the Atlas Planner was developed as an Excel spreadsheet and is attached as a non-public document.
