This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals (via webinar presentation and open forum) to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 for 2023. NRC resident inspectors will be available to answer questions about the safety performance of the plant and the NRC's role in ensuring safe plant operations. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting, however the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

The annual and follow-up assessment letters issued on October 12, 2023, October 19, 2023, January 24, 2024, and February 28, 2024, are accessible from the publicly available records (PARS) component of the NRCs document system (ADAMS) Units 1 and 2 (Accession Nos. ML23285A206, ML23263B166, ML24022A059, and ML24052A387, respectively.) A link to the meeting presentation will be available in ADAMS prior to the meeting.
