March 13, 2024 Darren Cofer Principal Fellow Collins Aerospace
Dear Mr. Cofer,
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), we wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for presenting at the NRCs 36th Regulatory Information Conference (RIC), held March 12-14, 2024. It was the first hybrid RIC for the NRC and your contributions helped to make it a great success!
In keeping with the theme, Adapting to a Changing Landscape, the 2024 hybrid RIC session brought together both the in-person and the virtual attendee and delivered a program that met our goal of beginning dialogue on Artificial Intelligence (AI). With 1024 registrants, we want to thank you in contributing to the success of the session.
We want to personally thank you for presenting as a speaker during the The Future of Nuclear: Adapting to AI-Enabled Autonomy session. We were delighted to have you as part of our panel and appreciate the time and effort you put into preparing and delivering your remarks.
You brought a perspective that both interesting and informative, and helped to stimulate a thought-provoking dialogue regarding the using AI Autonomy from the commercial aerospace industry. The discussion that you provided helped connect with audience members about navigating similar regulatory environments.
For your awareness, all the sessions were video-recorded and are available for viewing at https://video.nrc.gov/. In addition, the transcripts from all the plenary sessions and the video recordings from the technical sessions will be publicly available on the Program Agenda page of the NRCs public RIC website within the next 30 days.
We hope you enjoyed the 2024 hybrid RIC and welcome your insights so we can continue to enhance future RIC programs. Please feel free to use the Conference Feedback link to share your thoughts pertaining to any of the sessions or to the overall RIC in general.
Once again, thank you for participating in our conference and we hope you will join us next year for the NRCs 37th RIC, scheduled for March 11-13, 2025.
Sincerely, Victor Hall, Deputy Division Director U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Victor E. Hall Digitally signed by Victor E. Hall Date: 2024.03.27 14:06:57 -04'00'
