On February 20, 2024, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting to discuss the X Energy, LLC (X-energy) XENITH microreactor design criticality-related assumptions. The meeting notice can be found in Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) under Accession No. ML24039A185. The meeting slides used by X-energy during the meeting are in ADAMS, but are non-publicly available because the document contains proprietary information. During the meeting, X-energy discussed their XENITH microreactor design and criticality-related assumptions. A list of meeting attendees is provided as an enclosure to this summary.
