This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

This is an open meeting to discuss a question received under 10 CFR 73.56(d)(4)(ii)

Verification of Military Service as Claimed Employment. Industry has presented two questions: (1) may licensees and C/Vs accept forms equivalent to the DD Form 214, such as foreign military service forms, DD Form 215, provided directly by the applicant, to complete the military verification and help make decisions of trustworthiness and reliability in accordance with 10 CFR 73.56 (d)(4)(ii) and (2) may licensees and C/Vs accept the DD Form 214 and equivalent forms in electronic format?
