By letter dated January 10, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession Number ML24011A155), NAC International submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the approval of NAC-LWT Safety Analysis Report (SAR), revision 47, incorporating changes from Certificate of Compliance No. 9225 revisions 72 and 73 as approved contents for transport.
This communication informs you that the application appears to contain the necessary information to begin our review. We have established a schedule for the review of your SAR. Based on our preliminary evaluation, we anticipate completing our formal review by the end of April 2024. Please note that this date could change depending on the findings of our review. The NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will require approximately 14 staff hours and no contractor charges.
Note that this email will be placed in ADAMS as publicly available to document the acceptance of your submittal.
