By letter dated October 30, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No.: ML23293A280) Oklo Inc. (Oklo) submitted a white paper (WP),
Emergency Plan, for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs review. This WP describes Oklos approach to emergency planning that is intended to be utilized for its powerhouses and includes a template for the respective emergency plans. As part of the WP submittal, Oklo also provided specific questions that it would like the NRC staff to address in its feedback.
The enclosure to this letter provides the NRC staffs feedback and observations on the WP for Oklo to consider as part of any future submittal that may address this topic.
The enclosure to this letter contains proprietary information.
