On February 8, 2024, the NRC staff held a closed public meeting with TerraPower. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NRC staff feedback on TerraPowers Stability Methodology Topical Report [(TR)], Revision 0 (ML23334A239).

At the time of the meeting, the NRC staff was in the process of performing a completeness determination on the TR to assess whether there was sufficient technical information to allow the NRC staff to begin its detailed technical review.

The NRC staff began the meeting with introductions, a discussion of the purpose of the meeting, and other logistical information.

During the meeting, TerraPower and the NRC staff discussed several topics related to TerraPowers approach for assessing stability of the Natrium sodium fast reactor design.

These discussion topics are outlined in Enclosure 2 of this letter (ML24054A096, public; ML24033A156, non-public) and were provided to TerraPower in advance of the meeting.
