Dear Secretary Cardona:
I am pleased to submit the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) 2023 Annual White House Black Initiative Agency Plan. The Plan includes the NRC 's efforts to strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of Black Americans and Predominantly Black Institutions in pursuing opportunities to participate in Federal programs and initiatives. The NRC 's Plan is consistent with Executive Order 14050, "White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans," dated October 19, 2021.
The NRC continues to place a great deal of focus on this area.
