In the Reference 1 letter, Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) was informed of an escalated enforcement action, EA-23-097, associated with a preliminary White finding and apparent violation 05000317/2023050, not properly developing and implementing adequate maintenance instructions and practices for the 1A EOG since the engine was originally commissioned. In the Reference 2 letter, the NRC provided a final significance determination of a White finding and notice of violation.

The NRC plans to conduct a supplemental inspection for this finding in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95001, "Supplemental Inspection Response to Action Matrix Column 2 (Regulatory Response) Inputs," following CEG's notification of readiness for this inspection.

This letter notifies the NRC that Calvert Cliffs is ready for the supplemental inspection.
