Dear Mirela Gavrilas:

The purpose of this letter is to request an additional 1-year extension of the IATO for the DCS and PTS for the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio. This system is currently operating under a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) authorized IATO that is valid throqgh March 31, 2024 (Reference 1 ), as conditioned.

This extension would allow for continued operations during NRC's assessment and final issuance of an ongoing Authority To Operate the system in Piketon, Ohio.
