EA-23-118 - Missing NRC' s 90-day written response to Aerotest Operations, Inc. response to NRC Inspection Report 050-00228/2023-001 and dispute of Violation On October 13, 2023, the NRC acknowledged Aerotest Operations, Inc. responses to NRC Inspection Report 050-00228/2023-001 and Notice of Violation (Agencywide Document and Access Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML23285Al 71).
Our respond letters dated September 9, 2023 (ML23255A036 and ML23255A034) and October 2, 2023 (ML23279Al06) in which we disputed one of the violations (EA 118) and one minor violation.
In the October 13, 2023, letter it said "In accordance with Section 2.8 of the NRC Enforcement Manual, the NRC is currently reviewing your basis for contesting the violations. Accordingly, we will provide the results of our evaluation by written response within 90 days of the receipt of your response letter."
90-Days from the September 9, 2023, letter was December 8, 2023, and 90-Days from the October 2, 2023, was December 31, 2023. Yet as of January 23, 2024, we have yet to receive the NRC written response.
Please advise me when the response will be forthcoming.
