The Reference requested exemption from specific 10 CFR Part 73 requirements in accordance with 10 CFR 73.5. Following a clarification call with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
Project Manager, NRC Security staff, and Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC)
Licensing and Security staff on January 23, 2024, WCNOC hereby withdraws the exemption request. WCNOC intends to submit a new exemption request, which will include additional scope and technical details not included in the Reference submittal.
