Dear MS. Christian:
By letter dated December 7, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML23347A167), Westinghouse Electric Company submitted the subject white paper for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review. This white paper describes the general design of the Westinghouse AP300 small modular reactor. The NRC staff completed its review of the submittal. The proprietary enclosure to this letter provides the staffsdetailed observations for Westinghouse to consider.
