OF DECEMBER 4, 2023, TELEPHONE CALL WITH CENTRUS-AMERICAN CENTRIFUGE OPERATING, LLC REGARDING ITS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS SECURITY CLEARANCE On December 4, 2023, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff participated in a telephone conference call with staff from American Centrifuge Operating (ACO), a subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp., to discuss ACOs security clearance of their new CEO. The summary of the telephone conference call is enclosed.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this memorandum will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html the Public Electronic Reading Room. The enclosure to this memorandum contains OUO-sensitive information. Therefore, the enclosure will not be publicly available in ADAMS.
