QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION INSPECTION OF NUSCALE POWER, LLC STANDARD DESIGN APPROVAL APPLICATION QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Dear Ms. Fosaaen:
This letter documents the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform a Quality Assurance (QA) implementation inspection of NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale), as it pertains to the implementation of QA processes and procedures associated with NuScales standard design approval application. As confirmed via email on December 11, 2023, with your representative Elisa Fairbanks, the inspectors plan to arrive at the Corvallis, Oregon facility on Monday, February 26, 2024, and conduct the inspection through Friday March 1, 2024. An additional team of inspectors will support the inspection team in Oregon from NuScales Rockville office. Subsequent to the inspection, a formal inspection report will be issued and transmitted to you by a letter.
