WASHINGTON AGREEMENT STATE PROGRAM SUPPORT ASSESSMENT TEAM CHARTER The Washington Agreement State Program Support Assessment Team (Assessment Team) is formed to obtain independent information on the performance of the Washington Agreement State Program (Washington) and identify future actions. You are hereby assigned as the members of the Assessment Team, with Ms. Roldan-Otero serving as the team leader. You are expected to be onsite in Washington's state offices the weeks of September 11 and September 18, 2023.

A. Basis Since being placed on Heightened Oversight after the 2022 Integrated Materials Performance Evaluation Program review, Washington has continued to experience significant performance challenges associated with staffing, training, qualifications, approving and implementing contracts for additional licensing and inspection support, and updating procedures.
