OF THE OCTOBER 31, 2023, CLOSED MEETING WITH WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY REGARDING THE PRINCIPAL DESIGN CRITERIA TOPICAL REPORT FOR THE EVINCITM MICROREACTOR DESIGN The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting with Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) on October 31, 2023, to discuss the Principal Design Criteria Topical Report for the eVinci' microreactor design. The purpose of this meeting was for the NRC staff to ask clarifying questions to support their review of the subject topical report submitted for the NRC staffs review on June 28, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23179A195).
The closed meeting notice can be found in ADAMS under ML23279A126. This meeting notice was posted on the NRC public website as a closed meeting because the discussion involved proprietary information and is being withheld from public disclosure. Enclosure 1 provides the list of meeting attendees. Enclosure 2 provides the feedback, questions and comments that were shared with Westinghouse, as well as a summary of the meeting discussions.
