There is still no reliable long term solution for the storage of highly toxic radioactive waste. Utilities may be hacked by terrorists that could cause a nuclear accident or meltdown. Uranium mining causes serious environmental impacts. Clean and safe renewable alternative energy sources are widely available and likely much cheaper. I oppose nuclear because it diverts funds that would be better spent on alternative energy. Thanks for considering my input.
