Revision of the NRC Enforcement Policy.
Description of the document: This document revises the NRCs Enforcement Policy by updating the policys table of base civil penalties to reflect the new maximum civil penalty amount for violations of the Atomic Energy Act. This document is being published in conjunction with an NRC final rule that adjusts its civil penalty amounts for inflation.
Dates: The effective date of this rule is January 12, 2024.
This is not a major rule as defined by the Congressional Review Act.
