Final Rule: Adjustment of Civil Penalties for Inflation for Fiscal Year 2024.
Description of the document: The Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act requires Federal agencies to annually adjust for inflation the civil monetary penalty amounts that the agency can assess. This rule amends the NRCs regulations to implement the Act.
Dates: The effective date of this rule is January 12, 2024.
This is not a major rule as defined by the Congressional Review Act.
