NRC Inspection Report dated April 20, 2023, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 & 2 - Final Significance Determination For a Security-Related Greater Than Green Finding, Notice of Violation and Assessment Followup Letter, 05000327/2023441 and 05000328/2023441 By Reference Letter 1, TVA requested a postponement of the NRCs 95001 Inspection at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant previously scheduled by Reference Letter 2. This 95001 Inspection was identified as a necessary supplemental inspection in Reference Letter 3. Our postponement request was based on time needed to complete additional effectiveness reviews of Fleet corrective actions. The additional effectiveness reviews have not been developed, but also found not to be required prior to the 95001 Inspection based on the outcome of a corrective action program analysis that cleared Sequoyahs corrective actions-to-address the condition for the violation in Reference Letter 3.
This letter serves to notify the NRC that TVA is once again ready for the NRC to schedule the inspection.
