©2023 Nuclear Energy Institute 3 Purpose Collaboratively develop a knowledge management tool for PRA methods used in the current PRA practices Support PRA practitioners in key activities, including improvement of risk metrics and assessing Newly Developed Methods Support PRA method developers with knowledge management of methods currently under development and/or evaluation Objectives Allow industry PRA practitioners to provide continuous feedback on methods in use Provide easy access to information on available PRA methods to assist practitioners in their activities Retain consistency with existing processes and practices (e.g. RG 1.200)

©2023 Nuclear Energy Institute 4 Approach Develop a living documentation structure such that completeness issues and on-going updates are handled efficiently (i.e., without creating a burdensome approach or resource consumption)

Ensure the structure supports state-of-practice without overburdening implementation Include clear boundaries, scope, responsibilities, and industry oversight (including interfaces or caveats on regulatory implications)

Identify the infrastructure needed to ensure stability and usefulness of the process and data gathering Arrive at a publicly available product with revision control capability PRA Knowledge Management Tool
