OF THE SEPTEMBER 28, 2023, CLOSED MEETING WITH TERRESTRIAL ENERGY USA REGARDING THE PRINCIPAL DESIGN CRITERIA TOPICAL REPORT FOR THE IMSR STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS, AND COMPONENTS The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting with Terrestrial Energy USA (TEUSA) on September 28, 2023, to discuss the Principal Design Criteria for IMSR Structures, Systems, and Components Topical Report. The purpose of this meeting was for the NRC staff to ask clarifying questions to support their review of the subject topical report submitted for the NRC staffs review on January 17, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23025A066).
The closed meeting notice can be found in ADAMS (ML23236A270). This meeting notice was posted on the NRC public website as a closed meeting because the discussion involved proprietary information and is being withheld from public disclosure. Enclosure 1 provides the list of meeting attendees. Enclosure 2 provides the questions and feedback that were shared with TEUSA, and a summary of the meeting discussion.
