WESTINGHOUSE COLUMBIA FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY - INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT 07001151/2023003
Dear Annette Pope:
This letter refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection oversight activities conducted from July 1 to September 30, 2023, for the Westinghouse Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility in Hopkins, SC. During that time, the NRC did not conduct any core inspection activities on-site as detailed in the 2023 inspection schedule letter (ML22187A188). Although there were no scheduled core inspections in the third quarter of calendar year 2023, inspectors continued to conduct supplemental reviews of licensee-submitted reports (e.g., effluent reports, plant modification reports, and changes to the Integrated Safety Analysis Summary) and increased communications with your staff to discuss the status of plant operations.
No violations of more than minor significance were identified during this inspection.
