The LTR was submitted by letter dated January 5, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS]

Accession Nos. ML23005A309 [proprietary] and ML23005A308 [nonproprietary]). By letter dated July 14, 2023 (ML23195A092), NuScale submitted supplemental information to support detailed technical review of the LTR.

In the email that transmitted the original NRC Form 898 on July 31, 2023 (ML23205A004), we committed to provide resource estimates within 60 days of the transmittal of the email. Accordingly, the staff has completed its evaluation of the resource needs and estimates the LTR review will require approximately 4,684 staff hours and $170,000 for contractor support. This resource estimate was discussed with your staff, Wren Fowler, on September 21, 2023.
