FINAL: 9/1/23 SEQUENCE OF EVENTS FOR THE ALL EMPLOYEES MEETING WITH THE COMMISSIONERS DATE: September 12, 2023 Location:

  • TWFN Auditorium/Webcast Time of Meeting:
  • 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Setting:

  • Commission will be in the TWFN Auditorium.
  • Microsoft Teams Live Events will be available for virtual participation by employees; webcast is available for external participants to view the meeting.
  • All employees will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance and ask questions in real time via microphones in the room.
  • EDO/DEDOs and Office Directors are prepared to address operational questions if called upon.
  • Multiple Avenues to Submit Questions o App will be available a few weeks prior to the meeting to allow for questions in advance to identify questions of most interest to staff. If a Commissioner chooses to address one of the pre-submitted questions in their opening remarks, it will be removed from the list of questions for the readers to ask.

o In-person: Microphones will be available in the meeting room.

Order of Meeting:

(Reader (Hiruy Hadgu) is introduced to the Chair before the meeting and their name is provided on the Chairs table pad and on tent card.)

Dan Dorman calls the meeting to order, makes brief opening remarks (including an explanation on how questions will be handled), and hands the proceeding over to Chair Hanson.

Chair Hanson welcomes everyone (Headquarters, Regions, Technical Training Center and resident inspector site locations, and his fellow Commissioners) to the meeting.

  • Commissioner Crowells remarks Chair Hanson acknowledges questions were submitted in advance and the availability of microphones in the room for in-person questions and calls on the volunteer reader for the first question.

The top two or three most liked questions (time dependent) that were submitted in advance will be read by the reader at the beginning of the question session. The Chair will then call for the first in-person question. If there are times with no in-person questions, the Chair will call on the reader for the next question from the pre-submitted question list.

11:45 a.m. Chair Hanson indicates that they will be answering one final question.

11:50 a.m. - Chair Hanson invites the Union to make comments.

Sheryl Sanchez, President of the National Treasury Employees Union, will be invited for union remarks.

12:00 p.m. - Chair Hanson closes the meeting
