Revision of License Amendment Requests in Section 6 of Decommissioning Plan-Rev 3 Cimarron Environmental Response Trust, Consent Decree Case# 09-10156, NRC License No. SNM-0928
Dear Mr. Lux:
Thank you for the subject letter dated July 12, 2023. DEQ would have no objection to the proposed amendments to clarify License Conditions 23 and 27(b), as long as NRC concurs.
However, we also concur with NRC's recommendation to process those amendments along with your responses to upcoming Requests for Additional Information, to help expedite the approval process.
If the Licensee demonstrates the Soil Laydown Area meets the requirements for Unrestricted Release, then DEQ has no objection to the proposed changes to Decommissioning Plan Sections 6.5 and 6.7.2, at a time consistent with NRC's recommendation.
