ThereadinessassessmentwillhelptheNRCstaandXenergytoidenfyinformaongapsbetweenthedraLTRand thetechnicalcontentthatisexpectedtobesubmiedtotheNRCandidenfymajortechnicalorpolicyissuesthatmay adverselyimpactthetechnicalreviewoftheLTR.Itwillalsogivethestaanopportunitytobecomefamiliarwiththe LTR,parcularlyinareaswhereXenergyisproposingnewconceptsornoveldesignfeatures.
Thereadinessassessmentengagementplan(aached)providesthedetailsandlogiscsofthereadinessassessment acvies.NoregulatorydecisionswillbemadeduringorfollowingthestasreadinessassessmentengagementwithX energy.TheobservaonsfromthereadinessassessmentengagementdonotpredeterminewhethertheLTRwillbe docketed.
