The Reference requested exemption from specific 10 CFR Part 73 requirements. Per discussions with the Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) Project Manager and Wolf Creek Licensing Department on August 28, 2023, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) is withdrawing the Request for Exemption from Specific 10 CFR Part 73 Requirements originally submitted through WCNOC correspondence 000065 (Licensing No. WO 23-000065) on August 9, 2023. The withdrawal will allow restructuring of the exemption request to a more traditional, pre-Covid format and provide additional detail to aid review.
