  • Purpose of this meeting is o to interact with the public regarding SLR Guidance o to provide an overview of the revision process and significant updates o to offer recommendations on how to best formulate comments to facilitate staff adjudication or resolution.
  • No Staff decisions, findings, or commitments to be made during these public meetings.
  • Comments should be submitted in writing with sufficient detail, justification or explanation.

AMP XI.S6 Structures Monitoring

  • Added wooden poles as a structural component requiring an aging management review.

obased on the review of recent SLRAs, odue to the service life of wooden poles

  • Changes to the SRP-SLR and GALL-SLR Report provide guidance on adequate management of aging effects in wooden poles
  • Recommend a further evaluation to help determine applicable inspection method and frequency of inspection for the wooden poles.

AMP XI.S6 Structures Monitoring, XI.S7 Inspection of Water-Control Structures Redefined Chapter IX environments to include raw water, groundwater, or soil (aggressiveness defined by pH level, chlorides level (ppm), and sulfates level (ppm).

Update XI.S6, Structures Monitoring, Detection of Aging Effects program element to add reinforced concrete structural fire barriers (walls, ceilings, and floors) for visual inspection in accordance with GALL-SLR Report AMP 10 XI.M26.
