SA 2023-05, National Special Security Event for the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly The NRC issued SA 2023-05 on August 29, 2023, to all affected licensees (NRC and Agreement State) that possess, use, ship, or receive risk-significant radioactive materials, including radioactive materials equal to or exceeding the transportation quantities of concern, in the New York City, New York, area. Note that the SA contains security information and is, therefore, being withheld from public disclosure in accordance with NRC SUNSI handling requirements.
