Dear Mr. Warden:
Enclosed is an application accepted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on August 1, 2023, from Technetics Group, LLC (XCOM1340/01). The application seeks to amend XCOM1340 by adding additional components to the scope of the license, specifically 4 metal O-ring seals for use with Control Element Drive Mechanisms.
We understand that the Executive Branch has accepted the generic assurances previously provided by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for similar exports of components to the UAE.
Therefore, the NRC intends to issue this license after the required 30-day review period on the basis of these generic assurances.
