Report for Quality Assurance Program for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0164, MIT Nuclear Reactor Laboratory, Docket No. 71-0164
Dear Sir or Madam:
10 CFR 71.106 requires that changes to an approval holder's quality assurance program for radioactive material packages, for changes that do not reduce commitments, shall be submitted to NRC every 24 months. In the letter "Revised Quality Assurance Program Approval Form for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0164, Revision 8" dated 7 August 2015, NRC indicated to the MIT Nuclear Reactor Laboratory (NRL) that if no changes were made to the NRL's program [NRL Safety Review file #0-91-9] in subsequent 24-month periods, the NRL would be required to report that no changes were made.
Accordingly, the MIT Nuclear Reactor Laboratory hereby reports that no changes were made to the "Quality Assurance Program for MITR-II Fuel Shipment" in the 24-month period since the previous such report, which was dated 3 August 2021.
