LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY
Dear Catherine Lewis:
On July 25 - 26, 2023, Kennesaw State University hosted staff and leadership from the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) Division of Fuel Facility Inspection. The NRC conducted a two-day leadership retreat at the Universitys Lawrence V. Johnson Library and participated in an outreach opportunity with the Colleges of Engineering & Engineering Technology and Architecture & Construction Management.
Thank you for your generosity in providing the NRC with meeting space for the offsite retreat and your willingness to accommodate our leadership and staff with parking and other amenities.
During the retreat, your faculty and staff provided excellent help and support.
I would like to specifically recognize Ms. Kowis and Ms. Speck for their efforts in developing and executing an informative and mutually beneficial outreach opportunity between the NRC, Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering & Engineering Technology, and the College of Architecture & Construction Management. Their excellent communications with my staff prior to the retreat to identify the outreach needs, their flexibility in supporting our evolving retreat schedule, and thoughtful positive interactions during the meeting - all contributed to a successful initial outreach opportunity that will be an excellent first step in continued interactions between the NRC and Kennesaw State University.
