RE: Second RAI 6000-200 Submittal Date: Tuesday, June 27, 2023 10:31:00 AM Good morning, Ken, After reviewing your responses to our 2nd RAI, we have three brief follow-up/clarifying questions, please see them below.
- 1. When drafting a registration certificate, the NRC will include an estimated useful life. The purpose of question 2 of our RAI dated June 6, 2023, was to obtain an estimate of when servicing or re-evaluation of the Model 6000-200 may be necessary. The 5 to 15 years provided is a broad range. Not taking into consideration estimates for marketing, what is IMS Systems estimated working life for the Model 6000-200.
- 2. Following up to IMSs response to question three of the second RAI, please discuss any changes made to the source holder to accommodate the newly requested source Model NER-584 or confirm that no changes are necessary.
- 3. In response to question 4 of our second RAI, you referenced section 14.1.3 Source Holder
- Non-Routine. The name of this subsection corresponds to 13.1.3. Please clarify for our understanding.
