On April 11, 2023, American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centrus Energy Corp., requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to issue a six-month extension of the Interim Authority To Operate (IATO) for the security plan SEC-18-0002, American Centrifuge Operating, LLC Information System Security Plan (ISSP) for Oak Ridge, TN; Piketon, OH; and Bethesda, MD (ML23108A058).
